Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof has instructed agencies to coordinate and facilitate in removing roadblocks for EV charging stations. The government has requested sufficient electricity supply at approved sites and the development of new substations.
TNB is analyzing power supply sourcing methods and encouraging the use of renewable energy for charging EVs. The government also acknowledges the challenges faced by EV charging operators in procedures and licensing.
