Following delivery of the company’s first bitumen vessel, MT Jin Zhou Wan, 17 April 2019, Chief Operating Officer , Matrix Energy Group, Loqman Salam-Alada, explained at the company’s multifaceted facility in Warri, Delta state, that the expansion into bitumen is focused on closing identified limitations against adequate sourcing, storage, distribution and supply of the highly demanded product in Nigeria.
“The best we can do is support government’s aspiration of ensuring that all the materials required to make good roads and rail tracks are available in the country. That is what we are doing now, especially as we see sincerity in the mind of the government.”
