The Nigeria Customs Service and that of Benin Republic have entered into an agreement to open One- Single Border-Point at Segbana/ Tsamiya Border in order to enhance trade and as well ease business activities of the two countries.
According to the Comptroller, once the long – awaited dream of establishing this single- border post is actualized, Socio-economic challenges in these two countries will becomes a forgotten narrative. In their separate remarks, a businessman and member of Segbana/Tsamiya border committee, Nasiru Dan Musa Jega represented by Abdulrahman Muhammad Manga and Idris Shu’aibu Bagudo revealed that the border opening would boost economic activities of the two countries in particular Kebbi State.
