'This year’s car show will merge the timeless allure of vintage cars with the future of EVs as society transitions to a more sustainable era of mobility'

The Queen Street Cruise will take a step into the future this year as well as its traditional showcasing of vintage vehicles.

As part of the Queen Street Cruise, local EV owners, including area businesses with EVs will display their vehicles including plug-in-hybrids. The PUC will be on site with their EV fleet to share their knowledge and explain how the EV Home Charger Rental Program works. Visitors to the EV showcase will be entered into a draw to win a prize pack.

“The Queen Street Cruise is excited to integrate the EV showcase this year,” said Gary Trembinski, Co-Chair of the Queen Street Cruise. “This year’s car show will merge the timeless allure of vintage cars with the future of EVs as society transitions to a more sustainable era of mobility.” “PUC is happy to be joining local partners to increase public awareness of the benefits of electric vehicles,” stated Robert Brewer, President & CEO, PUC Services Inc. “As PUC makes major strides to electrify our fleet, we strongly believe that together we can drive towards a cleaner, greener future for our community.”
