Genesis Neolun Concept Is a Kia EV9-Sized Electric SUV With a Mashup of Greek, Latin, and Korean Influences
the image that it’s a European-style, Korean luxury vehicle brand and this Neolun Concept is no exception to that desire. At its heart, the concept isyou enter its unique cabin. Form there, the comparisons end, and the luxury begins to really grab at you. But it also relies on the principal of “reductive design,” and tries to all its screens save for a single, roll-up display in the dash.
Stepping inside, we’re greeted by a rather spartan interior, with only a few switches on the dash, speaker grilles, and not much else. Most of the controls are made into the squircle steering wheel. That strange thing popping over the wheel is your shift lever. Yeah, we aren’t totally sold on that idea. There aren’t any vents as the Neolun utilizes radiant heating in much the same way Korean houses utilize called “ondol” and flows up from the floors.
