Electric Picnic announce 'mystery headliner' and fans are baffled

Fans are going wild trying to guess the ‘mystery’ Electric Picnic headliner after music festival officials announced 40 new names to the lineup.

Festival goers have been scratching their heads trying to solve the mystery of who could be taking up that particular coveted spot.Our sister title, Buzz contacted organisers of the festival for comment, but it's possible that the major slot is yet to be tied down - hence the old anonymity. Chief among them are Young Fathers, Mimi Webb, Ethel Cain, Viagra Boys, PinkPantheress and Johnny Marr of The Smiths alongside Irish acts including: The Murder Capital, The Mary Wallopers, King Kong Company, Fight Like Apes,Sello, Ham Sandwich, Nell Mescal, Cian Ducrot and... drum roll please... The Wolfe Tones.
