It could be a good option for people who can shift their electricity use outside peak times

It would not make any difference? If u use the power at peak or low times it will cost the same price. This is a scam like the Meters. They said it would not cost u anything. They did not tell u there would be surcharges for having them. Instead of saving, it is costing u more?

Cost of oil now same as it was before 100% increase in bills, now expected to come down 20%. So that means 60% higher based on the same cost of oil.
