Gqeberha is currently experiencing a water crisis, and all water sources were too far from the fires, which meant trucks couldn’t refill timeously.Eastern Cape Working on Fire dispatched a spotter and a chopper to assist the WOF firefighters from two teams in fighting the fire at Clarkson. Aviation Support Vehicle is one of the resources on this fire. Working on Fire is assisting MTO.
