Audi reports sales increases for the Q4 e-tron and Q8 e-tron. In addition to sales of the A4 falling, Q5, Q7, and Q8 sales are also down this year, The German car manufacturer sold 92,913 vehicles through the year's first half. Audi sales have fallen by 14% in the U.S. in the first half of 2024, and demand for some of the brand’s historically popular models have fallen off a cliff. Not even strong sales of some of Audi’s popular EVs could offset the big decreases.
Deliveries of the Q7 have also plummeted by 41% to 7,892 units, while sales of the Q8 are down 31% to 4,369. The biggest drop off in sales was experienced by the TT with deliveries down 90%, although this can be explained by the fact that production of the two-door sports car has ended. EVs are up Fortunately, for Audi’s sake, it’s not all doom and gloom. While sales of the pricey e-tron GT are down 22%, sales of some of its other EVs are up.
