Marion Fellows is calling for an Energy Social Tariff which would reduce bills for disability households

Representatives from a number of organisations were invited to Marion Fellows MP’s constituency base in Motherwell to take part in a poverty action summit.

Ms Fellows is calling for an Energy Social Tariff which would reduce bills for disability households that may need to charge power-hungry equipment such as a wheelchair.“In two years we have seen food prices jump by almost 30 per cent,” the MSP said. “However, I can use my engagement and connections with community organisations that aim to help people – from employability issues to mental health – to better support people’s needs.
