Kiewit initially occupied about half of the 334,000-square-foot building, which was vacated by Amec Foster Wheeler in late 2018 following its acquisition by engineering and construction firm Wood Group the previous year. With Kiewit’s expansion, Energy Center I is 86 percent leased with two floors remaining for lease.Technip Energies signs major lease for relocation of U.S.

Louie Crapitto of JLL and David Kimball of SquareFoot represented Kiewit. Anderson, along with Katy Gragg of Transwestern, represented the landlord. Leasing activity during the first three months of the year was 41 percent below the five-year quarterly average for the region as Houston’s vacancy rate rose slightly to 25.6 percent, according to JLL.Aon, a global professional services company based in London, has moved its regional headquarters to a full floor in 1300 Post Oak Blvd.
