Subtly reworked electric crossover gains a boxier front bumper whose design was previously leaked accidentally by Genesis

Spy photographers have snapped the facelifted Genesis GV60 testing in Germany. Revised electric crossover gets a larger battery and a new front bumper that appeared in a promo video. Highlight of mid-life refresh will be the new GV60 Magma hero model, which borrows hardware from Hyundai’s Ioniq 5 N. Genesis is working on a high-performance GV60 Magma that borrows all the tasty hardware from sister company Hyundai’s fantastic Ioniq 5 N.

Related: Genesis GV60 Magma Spied As A High-Performance Luxury EV The new front bumper’s boxier shape and more vertical side air intake visible through the disguise perfectly matches the look of a facelifted GV60 glimpsed in a promo video Genesis released earlier in the year - and then quickly deleted. And though this prototype’s headlights are similar to the current crossover’s, each lamp unit is now made up of two rows of seven LED cubes, instead of two rows of five.
