The new model is the first product of Bugatti Rimac, a joint venture between Rimac Group and Porsche AG. This was created in November 2021 when the VW Group partly spun off its Bugatti Automobiles S.A.S. arm, which had never made money. The Tourbillon is the first car from Bugatti Rimac, and is supposedly capable of travelling at over 400 km/h.The convoluted revival of Bugatti, the famed French brand that faded out soon after World War II, began with the EB110 in 1991. This was a mid-engined supercar produced in Italy by a company formed by Italian entrepreneur Romano Artioli, who had acquired the rights to the Bugatti name and badge.
