Singer Justin Timberlake ran a stop sign and swerved into another lane while driving in the Hamptons early Tuesday morning before he was pulled over by a police officer and ultimately arrested for driving while intoxicated, the Sag Harbor Police Department said in a statement Tuesday afternoon.Timberlake was reportedly driving a 2025 BMW after having dinner at the American Hotel in the Hamptons at around 12:30 a.m. before he was pulled over, arrested and charged with DWI.
He was held in police custody overnight and arraigned Tuesday, after which he was released without bail, police said. Timberlake was arrested in Sag Harbor, New York, a tiny village split between the popular summer destinations of Southampton and East Hampton.
