Police were called to Deacon Road in Widnes on Friday, April 19 at around 4pm following reports of a crash. When officers arrived at the scene they found the cyclist had fallen from an electric bike.
His injuries were initially not believed to be life threatening, but the man's condition deteriorated, and he died on Wednesday, May 22. Police are now appealing for witnesses and video footage following the fatal crash.
