THE People’s Survival Fund has been fully appropriated by the Department of Finance to provide long-term financing of adaptation projects aimed at enhancing the resilience of communities and ecosystems to climate change.
These projects will be implemented in Borongan City, Eastern Samar; Kitcharao, Agusan del Norte; Mountain Province; Maramag, Bukidnon; and Catanauan, Quezon, the DOF added. To finance adaptation programs and projects of local government units and accredited local and community organizations, the PSF was established under Republic Act 10174 in 2012.
