During Lucid's first-quarter earnings call, CEO Peter Rawlinson confirmed a new high-volume, mid-size model is coming.

Lucid has confirmed it will build a new high-volume mid-size electric SUV with a starting price 'around $48,000.'Lucid CEO Peter Rawlinson confirmed the new, unnamed model earlier this week during the company's first-quarter earnings call.The mid-size platform is slated to begin production sometime in late 2026 at Lucid's AMP-2 factory in Saudi Arabia.Lucid's lineup will triple in size in the coming years, growing from one to three electric vehicles.

' The plan is for the new mid-size platform to begin production sometime in late 2026 at Lucid's second Advanced Manufacturing Plant , which is located in Saudi Arabia.'I'm confident that we can achieve unrivaled levels of efficiency for this crucial mid-size-class vehicle,' Rawlinson said on the call.
