MANILA, Philippines: President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Thursday ordered the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority and all local government units to grant a 'grace period' to electric vehicles such as e-bikes, e-trikes, e-four wheelers using national roads in Metro Manila.In a statement posted on his social media, the President said they must be given ample time to be informed about the ban.
'He said that if these vehicles would be stopped it would be 'to inform the drivers of the roads that they can use and to remind them of the new regulations to ensure their safety and to maintain orderliness on the roads.
