Environment and Climate Change Canada is looking for young people in Canada between the ages of 18 and 29 to become a member of the next Environment and Climate Change Youth Council by applying to an anticipatory selection process.The youth council provides non-partisan advice to the minister and senior departmental executives on key environmental and climate issues, reads a press release from Nickel Belt MP Marc Sérre.
It also states the council is an opportunity to meet like-minded youth and policymakers, and learn more about environmental issues facing our country and our government’s policies to solve them.
