Eurovision stars Bambie Thug and Loreen added to Electric Picnic line-up

Eurovision finalist Bambie Thug and Eurovision star Loreen have joined the line-up at this year’s Electric Picnic.

Bambie, who secured sixth place at this year’s Eurovision in Sweden, has been added to the three-day festival line-up. They will perform on Sunday. This marks Bambie’s first performance in Ireland since their highly-praised showing in Malmö, where they placed sixth in the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 with their entry Doomsday Blue, receiving a total of 278 points - becoming Ireland’s highest scoring entry ever and best result in 24 years.CMAT makes a welcome return to the festival after wowing crowds in 2022.

It will be quite the party weekend as Electric Picnic celebrates its 20th anniversary alongside The Stranglers who are celebrating 50 years of making music.
