Dutton has previously dismissed questions about whether the policy will damage his standing in the former Liberal seats now held by independents who demand strong action on climate change. Labor has gone on the attack over the policy, with Albanese calling it a fantasy and some government MPs sharing cartoon memes on social media about the safety risks of nuclear, including images of three-eyed fish and koalas.Littleproud, when asked on Sunday if he agreed with Dutton’s description of Albanese as “a child in a man’s body”, said: “Well, I do.”
