BYD Supercar Range: Yangwang U9 achieves a top speed of 192mph and completes the 0-400m sprint in only 9.78 seconds.

BYD Auto, the world’s leading electric vehicle manufacturer, has stepped up its game by introducing its inaugural supercar, the Yangwang U9, in a bold move to rival high-performance cars from Tesla and renowned manufacturers like Ferrari and Lamborghini.

With its “Time Gate” design language, the Chinese automaker claims that the Yangwang U9 showcases a unique aesthetic, defined by distinct proportions, tension, and power, perfectly capturing its essence as a pure electric supercar.supercar segment with its two core technologies, its new e4 platform and the DiSus-X Intelligent Body Control System featured in Yangwang U9.

Another standout is BYD’s DiSus-X Intelligent Body Control System, which enables the U9 to achieve a maximum adjustable suspension travel of up to 75mm, with a peak single-axis lifting speed of 500mm/s, delivering over 1 ton of instantaneous lifting force. According to BYD, these features significantly enhance vehicle agility and comfort across various driving scenarios, such as braking, acceleration, cornering, and road impacts.
