THE Department of Energy (DoE) announced on Friday that it had simplified the application process for renewable energy (RE) development.

THE Department of Energy announced on Friday that it had simplified the application process for renewable energy development.The initiative is the DoE's latest effort to establish greater ease of doing business in the energy sector and to meet the country's renewable energy targets.

The DoE also warned that it may recall the CoA if the developer fails to demonstrate reasonable efforts in undertaking the required activities within these prescribed periods.
