In the U.S., prostate cancer is the second most commonly diagnosed form of cancer among men. While doctors commonly recommend cancer patients follow strictly plant-based diets high in whole grains, fruits, and vegetables, Liu and team delved into how a vegan diet results in better treatment outcomes specifically for men with prostate cancer.
