S&P/TSX composite rises Tuesday on energy strength, U.S. markets also move higher

Heading into the second half of the year, the tech sector continues to see momentum, added Mahajan, with the Nasdaq leading gains on Tuesday.Tesla helped boost U.S. markets as the electric-vehicle maker saw its share price rise more than 10 per cent after reporting better spring sales than expected.
