Giovanni Grillo was charged with assault of an elderly person, reckless endangerment, disorderly conduct, and intentional cruelty to persons, June 12, 2024.
A complainant told Connecticut State Police that Giovanni Grillo “had turned off the main electrical supply to an apartment located on the premises.”“The complainant further explained that the occupant of the apartment is dependent upon medical equipment powered by the electrical supply to maintain their health,” police added, “and that Grillo has expressed that he wants the occupant to vacate the apartment.”Officers called paramedics to the victim’s home as a precaution.
Then, they said Grillo “acknowledged that he had interfered with the function of the medical equipment. Grillo indicated that he was aware of the potential ramifications of his actions.”Grillo, 73, was arrested and charged with assault of an elderly person, reckless endangerment, disorderly conduct, and intentional cruelty to persons.
