, the well-known benchmark platform for mobile devices, has ventured into the electric vehicle market with a new benchmark app. The app objectively evaluates a car’s infotainment system performance by testing its chipset, RAM, and storage.
Several other established EV names are also on the list which include Xpeng P7i in the 8th, Nio ET7 in the 12th, Polestar 2 in the 14th, and Audi Q4 e-tron in the 17th position. EV, which has the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 chip as the top three EVs. It is paired with 16GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
As the app is new, it will take some time to build a comprehensive database of EV benchmark scores. The initial data offers a glimpse into infotainment system performance across various EV brands, but a clearer picture will emerge as more vehicles are tested.
