With the pressures of the cost of living, it’s been extremely popular and is making a difference in people’s lives. “In addition to these services, we are distributing free warmth packs containing essentials like blankets, thermal cups, hats, and gloves to further support residents in need. Over the coming months, we will be visiting community venues around Preston to speak to residents and sign them up for a visit from the van.”Government’s UK Shared Prosperity Funding .
Little Van of Warm is a free service eligible to those with a household income below £36,000 per year or recipients of means-tested benefits.
