Australian electro-pop duo Electric Fields has reflected on their breakthrough performance at Eurovision 2024, and how they had to "suck it up and get on with it" during tough moments in the competition.
"We gained a lot of love from new fans, and people who are jumping on the Electric Fields' ride, and hopefully we can gift them a European tour." "There were moments I had to suck it up and go 'no, get on with it'… in a sense of becoming stronger inside of myself.""It's a memory that's going to be with us forever … and we still don't know how to make sense of it," Fielding said.
They performed with the Darwin Symphony Orchestra as part of a series of new collaborations with Australian orchestras."It just makes people feel really good, it makes us feel good, and it encourages us to use music through different perspectives," Fielding said."It used to be that only rich white people would see orchestras and they used to go in suits and gowns, but that audience is changing," Ross said.
"It's going to be the first dance electronic show we've done since Europe, so we're going to blow off all that steam, and show jet-lag where to go," he said.
