The successor of the Opel Crossland offers the option between mild-hybrid and fully electric powertrains

The Frontera is positioned between the smaller Mokka and the larger Grandland in Opel's expanded SUV lineup, while being cheaper than both. It is available in 5-seater and 7-seater configurations, mirroring the closely-related Citroen C3 Aircross. The ICE Frontera is equipped with a mild-hybrid 1.2-liter engine, while the Electric version offers over 300 km of range.

In its five-seater configuration, the boot boasts a capacity of over 450 liters , expanding to 1,600 liters when the seats are folded. Opel has confirmed plans to introduce a three-row, seven-seater layout for the Frontera in the near future, catering to the needs of larger families. Additionally, optional roof rails are available, capable of supporting a maximum weight of 240 kg , including a specifically-designed roof tent with an integrated ladder for the SUV.
