Austria-based engineering company AVL has set up a new office in the Toronto area, as Canada firms up its place as an “epicenter” for battery and electric-vehicle technology, the company said April 24.
Corey Miller, business director for the new entity, officially known as AVL TSI Canada Inc., said the company investment in Canada will “help move the industry towards its goal of creating smart, clean, and affordable transportation.”
