Zenith Energy Enzymes Ltd, an eco-conscious organisation has encouraged farmers in Kwara State with organic fertilisers, feeds and hybrid seeds that can be planted for multiple gains. The exercise was captured under the launch of ''Home Farming For All'' kits for residents of Ekiti/Isin/Irepodun/Oke-Ero constituency.
According to Iroegbu, the programme, first of its kind in the country, is in tandem with the federal government’s idea of the present administration’s state of emergency on food security. Hon. Raheem Olawuyi, Member, Federal House of Representatives from Ekiti/Isin/Irepodun/Oke-Ero, who facilitated the programme said the initiative was to address the pressing issue of high food costs which could only be achieved by promoting self-sufficiency in food production in the constituency.
