The electric bike was stolen from a secure bike shed on Matthias Court

Officers said an electric bike was stolen from a secure bike shed on Matthias Court. The incident happened between 11.15pm and 11.30pm on Monday, April 8.

No arrests have been made. Morecambe Area Police have now issued a picture of a man they want to speak to in connection with the theft. They are asking anyone who recognises him to get in contact.In a post on social media, a force spokesperson said: "Do you recognise this individual? We would like to speak to them in connection with a burglary in Morecambe on Monday, 8th April 2024 between 23:15hrs and 23:30hrs where an electric bike was taken from a secure bike shed on Matthias Court.

"We have been making enquiries since the burglary was reported and have now gained the image and are asking for your help. We appreciate the image isn’t of the highest quality, but if you recognise them, please phone 101 or email 5999@lancashire.police.uk, quoting log 0363 of 9th April 2024."
