The Sony Foundation's YouCan Centres aim to bridge the gap in the healthcare system for Australia’s young people fighting cancer - giving them somewhere to stay at no cost PMLIVE in partnership with SonyMusicAU and SonyFoundation

Fighting cancer is difficult enough but for rural patients like Rachael Eather, who lives in Singleton NSW, the trip for treatment is yet another burden.

The Sony Foundation aim to bridge the gap in the healthcare system for Australia’s young people fighting cancer - giving them YouCan Centres - somewhere to stay at no cost during treatments to allow more time and energy to focus on recovery. “We know one of the biggest burdens is coming for treatment regularly and not having access to accommodation,” Sony Foundation CEO Sophie Ryan told Sky News.
