Energy Minister Angus Taylor says Australia's economic relationship with China remains “very, very healthy”. A key human rights partnership between Australia and China was quietly suspended this week – signalling a major step backwards in international relations.
“You’ve got people all across Australia who are selling products to China everyday… we have a very, very strong and positive economic relationship,” he told Sky News Monday. “With all countries with whom we have a strong relationship, there are times when we disagree on things and that is clearly true with China as it is with so many other countries in the world and we should expect that and work through it.
