The ongoing “spat between the Greens and the Nationals” regarding the recent bushfire crisis “advanced neither party” according to Editor-at-Large at the Australian Paul Kelly.

My Kelly told Sky News “the Greens essentially argued the Morrison government was responsible for the fires which was an irrational and outrageous claim”.

“Scott Morrison and Anthony Albanese did the right thing of being prudent in terms of the politics” however, the “big issue of climate change” is what Mr Morrison will need to focus on, as well as balancing his “competing constituencies,” he said. Image: News Corp Australia
