EU is a bigger market than UK. UK - EU trade relations post Brexit is not clear. EU is more focused and committed to environment. UK is plunging into dark period with extremist + super idiot Boris Johnson. If it's Europe it makes business sense to be with EU than UK.
We want free trade, but don’t want to pay billions to other countries and have open borders with EU. It seems this is what Japan now has despite paying nothing toward EU development. Surely UK deserves a deal at least equal to Japan’s?
