Fatih Birol emphasized the importance of political will and technology.

The world needs a "grand coalition" to address climate change, according to the Executive Director of the International Energy Agency .World Energy Outlook 2019 report earlier.

"Our sustainable development scenario provides a trajectory for the energy sector to be fully in line with Paris Agreement, namely to keep the temperature increase well below two degrees Celsius," he said. Birol explained that in order to reach the sustainable development goals, technological solutions – renewables, nuclear power and carbon capture and storage, among other things – had to be pushed and supported by governments.

There was climate before humans and it changed. Government control of your life will not make a difference.

CO2 is plant food

Right. Check back in when China is on board.

Without full participation from China India Southeast Asia and Africa this is just some wealth redistribution scheme..not serious about the climate.

The earth was 99% covered by ice and has been slowly thawing. As the blocks of ice get smaller they will melt faster. We are could have a eruption or a cosmic collision to change things. No science will stop it. I could help us live with it anything else would be a waste.

The grifting for climate dollars has become embarrassing.

For what tangible goal? Lower the Earth’s temperature or lower the volatility, or both?

Who gets to pay for it? Tax. Tax tax. Frackin scam artist scum.
