The Fields of Athenry could be heard over New Zealand's Haka ahead of today's Rugby World Cup quarter-final.Joe Schmidt's men are aiming to make history today by becoming the first ever Irish team to reach the semi-finals of the World Cup.

He wrote in his Paddy Power blog: "I’m really excited to be in Japan for the ZoZo Championship that tees off next week and will get to go to Ireland’s Rugby World Cup quarter final against New Zealand on Saturday.
