A leading scientific research centre will create 350 new jobs over the next six years, it was announced on Monday.
The cash injection will fund phase two of the Science Foundation Ireland Research Centre and will be a key part of the Government’s Future Jobs Strategy. AMBER plans to raise €77million in cash and in-kind contributions from industry and non-exchequer sources through their collaborative and international research activities.AMBER also plan to use the funding to develop Irish science to support a green economy in tandem with the All Government Climate Action Plan.
