Treasurer Josh Frydenberg has hosed down any suggestion that the Coalition will be going back to the drawing board on climate change after the government's come-from-behind election win.
As the results rolled in, outgoing MP Julie Bishop said the Coalition must reassess its position on climate change and possibly revisit former prime minister Malcolm Turnbull's signature energy policy."It will have to end the uncertainty and the National Energy Guarantee was the closest thing we had to a bipartisan position."
The package includes money for Snowy Hydro 2.0, energy efficiency programs and grants for community organisations to buy solar panels. The half of the ditched national energy guarantee that dealt with power reliability is also being rolled out, he stressed.
Science is difficult & optional for climate change alarmists. The climate is always changing. It always has changed and it always will. CO2 never correlated or caused past climatic changes. It did not cause current changes. It is arrogant of man to pretend we cause climate change
We don’t need a planet anyway.
Which is the biggest disappointment post the election. The really big problems remain untouched ... seems to be the wish of society ... kind of “as long as I’m happy now fuck the future ...”
Good that’s why I voted for liberal 👍
Why show the steam coming from the cooling towers - it’s just steam not smoke - more sensationalist bullshit !
Well there’ll be jobs in coal but there may be no agriculture . Then there’ll be no food then what will your money be worth
The indoctrinated masses hiss in unison.
The government doesn’t have any Climate Change Policy.
Investigate this global warming hoax before you start complaining. CO2 is needed for life on this planet. It is an pattern that has been happening for thousands of years & has more to do with the sun then human CO2. We need to start cleaning up after ourselves thats it!!
What climate change policies
That is really bad!!!
missmirandatap To all the Morrison voters in QLD, I wish your children all the best in a future filled with more floods, droughts and fires, and without your money earner The Great Barrier Reef. They can of course feel safe in the knowledge that nothing will change.
Australia is responsible for %1.3 of global emissions, what ever we do won’t make a fucking difference!
That man can't see past his ego.
REMINDER: The man-made climate change narrative is a lie.
Why not SBSNews ? Are you doing the Governments advertising now with that headline? auspol AUSVOTED

What a surprise.
TheFeedSBS Just Jesus policies...

TheFeedSBS Oh. If people only knew I'm sure they'd have voted differently. Then again, no, because this country is a cesspit.
Shameful that a majority of Australians support inaction on climate change.....what is Australia without a healthy environment? Sod the planet let's make a few more $$$. Shame!🌎
TheFeedSBS I'm sorry, but you're confusing me. The government has no climate change policies; what are you trying to say here?
We need to give 16 + year olds in aus the ability to vote. This election was won due to the aging population wanting to protect their money and not really giving a fuck about important issues like climate change and future generations. Im convinced we are in strife now
The irony of fossil fuels.. Even the dinosaurs are ahead of Scomo 👌😂😅
If only there was a senate that had oversight, that could force the government to do more? Oh wait.......
