House passes first climate change bill since Trump pulled out of Paris agreement

Washington The House of Representatives passed its first major piece of legislation addressing climate change on Thursday, aiming to prevent the US from leaving the Paris climate agreement.

The bill passed, 231-190. Three Republicans joined with Democrats to support the legislation.It prohibits the use of federal funds from being used to withdraw from the treaty -- an agreement that's been sharply criticized by President Donald Trump. He's vowed to withdraw from the treaty, which wouldn't happen until November 2020, the same month as his re-election. Trump announced in June 2017 that the US would withdraw from the agreement.

Proving that for the Democrats their campaign on Climate Change has nothing to do with preventing Climate Change. Otherwise they wouldn't support a global agreement to allow the second & third largest greenhouse gas emitters to continue to grow their greenhouse gas emissions.

I guess the Climate Change Bill was voted for by Democrats. Therefore it will get no where. They do it not because they truly believe inClimate Change but just because of going against Trump.

Unless this Bill is enforceable in China, don't waste your time. The Free Market in America has ensured emissions have decreased significantly, the same cannot be said of most of the globe (especially socialists and centralized governments).
