BENIN CITY – THE Edo state government and the All Progressives Congress have engaged in a war of words over allegations that the governorship candidate of the APC, Sen. Monday Okpebholo was planning to review the N70,000 minimum wage currently being paid by the state and that he hoped that the federal government would fix its wage below N70,000 to justify the intention to reduce it.

Nehikhare said, “APC has ruined the Nigerian economy, and the Edo State people need to be on the alert because if the party is voted into power in the State, they will have the same economy as the Nigerian economy.
