“As we shift away from coal-fired power, to protect our climate and create a sustainable robust economy, we must invest in communities impacted by the transition to ensure they are not left behind,” the minister said.Coal power starts going offline in Alberta as shift to cleaner energy picks up He said the intersection improvements are underway and will “open up 2,600 acres of developable, commercial property for Parkland County.”
