THIS is an update on my continued monitoring of news and developments in the climate debate between climate alarmists and climate skeptics and realists.The big news from the alarmists' front is the warning that the intense heat in Paris at this time could kill participants in the 2024 Paris Olympics scheduled this July and August.Organizers, however, insist that the games will go on; they are confident that no harm would come to the athletes of competing nations.

Consider a recent headline in the Wall Street Journal: 'Big Tech's Latest Obsession Is Finding Enough Energy' — because the 'AI boom is fueling an insatiable appetite for electricity.' And, as Reuters reports, 'US electric utilities predict a tidal wave of new demand ... Nine of the top 10 US electric utilities said data centers were a main source of customer growth.
