OSOGBO – The Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, Osun State University branch has disclosed that greed among the political class is responsible for poor funding of education in the country.

He stated further the union would not relent in its struggle to liberate the country’s education from colonial neoliberal fundamentalism, adding that the dissolution of the university governing council is illegal and unacceptable. “Indeed, our governments can fund education at all levels if the political elites shun greed and corruption, plug the wastages and leakages and eschew fiscal discipline.”
