Greta Thunberg is an impressive individual. Just 16 years old, she has been nominated for the Nobel peace prize after sparking environmental protests around the planet. There is a glorious simplicity to her arguments that makes them hard to refute.

There are different levels of autism. My son is on heavy spectrum disorder....i somehow think she can bring awareness but the misconception is that people may thing its just kids like her with fully functional autism that need attention. My son is nowhere like her and it hurts
A very good article. Whatever one’s views on Greta’s message on climate change, she’s a much-needed positive role model for those on the spectrum, showing how the different way of thinking - seeing things from outside the box - is indeed a gift and should be recognised as such.
This article is well-meaning, but very vague and confused in its statements about autism. I am not sure this helps either the autistic cause or Greta Thunberg.
It is depressing the number of middle aged men prepared to bully an autistic teenager. Some of the comments made about her are spectacularly vile
