The ideal scenario for effective energy governance involves these three entities working together seamlessly yet independently. Under the purview of this ministry, the electricity supply industry is regulated by a comprehensive legal framework. This includes the Electricity Ordinance , the Electricity Rules of 1999, the Electricity Rules of 2003, and the Sarawak Electricity Supply Ordinance of 2004.
