Paul Foster announced today that he is stepping down as Chair of the ERCOT Board of Directors. Mr. Foster was named Chairman of the board of ERCOT in October 2021. Learn more about ERCOT’s Board of Directors:It’s unclear why he would be stepping down, but Pablo Vegas, ERCOT’s President and CEO praised Foster’s work, describing it as integral to ERCOT and Texas’ electric power industry.
“Pauls’ extensive experience, insight, and pursuit of grid reliability have been integral to ERCOT and to the electric power industry in Texas. Paul has contributed his time and efforts to see ERCOT through some challenging times and has consistently acted in the best interest of TEXAS.
