Greens call for royal commission into the Murray-Darling Basin Plan | Sky News Australia

Sarah Hanson-Young says she will today write to Opposition Leader Bill Shorten to back a royal commission into the Murray-Darling Basin Plan. Her call comes after a controversial $80 million water buyback in 2017, involving Energy Minister Angus Taylor, resurfaced as an election campaign issue.

Prime Minister Scott Morrison dismissed calls for further investigations, saying all the documents related to the sale were handed over to a Senate inquiry.
